Hyderabad police say

Hyderabad: The day after radiologist Dr Chigurupati Namrata was arrested by Raidurgam police while buying cocaine from a supplier in Mumbai, he found that he had become a supplier of substances dependent in the past six months.
According to Raidurgam inspector Ch Venkanna, police have conducted a comprehensive investigation and sent applications to banks to find out where the funds for contraband have flowed, which will further help them analyze the scope of the drug network.
“While some are cash transactions, some are conducted online. She has spent over 7 million rupees of drug overtime,” said an official.
In the drug network, police say the alleged membership is part of the group and are working hard to seize them.
On Saturday morning, Dr. Namrata was arrested for buying 53 grams of cocaine, for which she paid 500,000 yuan in cash.
Up to now, the supplier and Dr. Namrata Balakrishna have been arrested and remanded by the police. Major supplier Vansh Thakkar still absconded.
