Good. MLA promises to rescue the rain-inducing farmers

Warangal: Congress MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy on Thursday assured that in the Valangar region this week, the state will promptly compensate farmers for this week’s non-seasonal rain and hail.

Visiting the damaged rice fields and cotton fields in Kantathmakur and Lakshmipuram villages, Parakar lawmakers ordered agricultural officials to complete a crop damage investigation “not losing individual farmers”. He said the Congress-led administration “a top priority is farmers’ welfare” and vowed that “every grain lost will be paid.”

At the Parakala agricultural market site, Reddy inspected the soaked Paddy stock and promised to provide prompt relief funds to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. MLA then visited Narasakkapalli, who promised to help a family whose roof was torn apart by a strong wind.

Instructed officials to stay in touch with affected tillers every day, establish relief camps and submit rapid assessment reports to the regional government. “Farmers should not lose hope; the government will support them in every possible way,” the MLA said.
