The weather in Hyderabad is likely to continue to fluctuate as the Indian Meteorological Department predicts rainfall to moderate rainfall on Friday (18 April 2025) or the thendershowers are likely to be accompanied by strong winds (30-40 kmph) in the city and its neighborhoods over the next 24 hours. Cities experiencing hot temperatures also rained this week.

IMD has issued a yellow alarm to 16 areas on Saturday (April 19, 2025). Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds were forecast in isolated places in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal. It also predicts that 11 regions can record temperatures from 41°C to 44°C.

According to its highest temperature report, the highest temperature was recorded on Thursday at Nizamabad (42°C), followed by Adilabad (41.8°C) and Medak (41.2°C).
