Six-year-old girl injured in Patna's rough bomb explosion

A six-year-old girl was injured after an explosion in the Bihar capital, Patna, police said on Sunday. A senior official said the incident occurred in the Bakarganj area in the jurisdiction of the Pilbar Police Department when the bomb exploded on Saturday night.

She said the girl whose identity has not been revealed is now in danger. Police received a call saying that two bombs exploded in the Bakarganj area at around 9 p.m. on Saturday. Personnel from the Pilbar Police Department arrived at the scene and found that two thick bombs had been extinguished. A six-year-old girl suffered minor injuries in the incident,” Town-1 (Patna) Diksha’s sub-dynamic police (SDPO) told PTI.

The injured girl was immediately taken to a government hospital where her condition was “out of danger.” She added that the case was registered and an investigation was underway.

Forensic experts have been hiring investigators, she said, adding: “Officers are trying to find the people involved in the bomb casting in Bailanes in Bakarganj area, and they are also motivated to move.”
