Hydraa takes back HMDA approved land

Hyderabad: Hydraa conducted two encroachments and demolition drives in Kukatpally and Manikonda on Monday and reclaimed the HMDA-approved layout land, as well as a layout of parks and roads.
In Hydernagar, Kukatpally, Hydraa reclaims HMDA approved land for Diamond Hill layout. The layout was made in 2000 and consisted of 79 plots, which were then approved by Huda.
Hydraa claims that in 2007, Dr. NSD Prasad showed the land as agriculture through the bailiff and obtained a former party ordinance, thus occupying the seven acres of layout. The plot owner complained to Hydraa about Dr. Prasad and noted that he had encroached on the pool, roads, parks and plot boundaries.
They claimed they filed a lawsuit in the High Court, during which Dr Prasad gave different parts of the land to rent commercial activities such as parking lots and earned Rs 5 million a month. They claimed he charged eight years of rent from the businesses.
They complained that although the High Court did not avoid it on September 9M, 2024, he did not further establish fences and therefore they were not allowed to visit the land.
Hydraa said they called both sides of a meeting and verified the documents in front of them. After that, Hydraa Commissioner Av Ranganath ordered the removal of encroachment.
In Puppalguda, Manikonda, Hydraa demolished buildings on land that was disputed in court. Hydraa received complaints from residents of Dollar Hills layout, who said the layout owners had encroached on the land.
The layout created by Santosh Reddy in 1998 covers an area of 60 acres, and he sold nearly 80% of the plot under the initial layout of HMDA. The layout was rejected by the HMDA in 2005, and since then, Santosh Reddy and other layout owners allegedly colluded with the land and turned it into agricultural purposes without plot owners.
Santosh Reddy and others later joined the two acres of Parkland and the layout of the road and sold it. The dispute has been in court since 2016, and although in fact no construction should be done on the court’s land, they allegedly raised the border wall and structure on the land.
Commissioner Ranganath inspected the website on May 14 and held a meeting with both sides and conducted an investigation in their presence. After further investigation, Hydraa removed the structure on Monday.
