Congress played in speech, scanned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (March 16, 2025) saying his “hypo(d)crishy” has no restrictions as he has not yet faced a press conference but found comfort in the podcaster in the United States.
During his three-hour interaction with Podcaster and computer scientist Lex Fridman in the United States, Mr. Modi opened up many issues of diplomatic affairs and spoke about various aspects of his life.

He praised RSS for instilling patriotic values in him, praising Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy, and calling himself a peacemaker who had lended Russian and Ukrainian leaders to the negotiating table.
Congress Secretary General, Communications, Jairam Ramesh responded to the podcast, saying “criticism is the soul of democracy” and accused him of “demolishing” institutions that would put his government on accountability and revenge on critics.
“Those who feared facing the media at the press conference found comfort in foreign podcasts anchored in the right-wing ecosystem.
“And, when he systematically concealed his government responsibility and pursued critics for revenge, every institution that no one in history matched recently, he could say that ‘criticism is the soul of democracy’ Ramesh wrote on X.
“There is no limit to the (d) crisis,” Congress leader said.
