I hit Pushkaralu

Warangal: The state government’s digital governance plan MEE Ticket Mobile App proves that during the ongoing Saraswati Pushkaralu played an important role in managing pilgrims and streamlining services during the ongoing Saraswati Pushkaralu in Kaleshwaram in the Jayashankar Bhupalpally area.

The 12-day Pushkaralu started on May 15 and witnessed a steady increase in the crowd. On the third day alone, an estimated 1.2 million devotees arrived at the confluence of the Holy Rivers of Triveni Sangam – Godavari, Pranahita and Saraswati.

To handle the surge, officials deployed MEE ticketing apps for digital ticketing and real-time service coordination. The app provides access to bathing rooms, parking areas, public facilities, and details of cultural programs held as part of the celebration. Launched on January 9 by IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the app has recorded over 50,000 downloads and facilitated transactions worth more than 10 million.

At Kaleshwaram, the app enables devotees to book admissions, receive the latest information about the event, and access critical logistical details such as shuttle bus time, food distribution points and emergency contact services. Officials said this helped reduce congestion, eliminated the need for cash transactions, and improved the overall experience of the pilgrims.
