If India stops attacking: Pakistan’s foreign minister will consider relegation

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Saturday that Islamabad would consider relegation if India stops further attacks, but added that its troops are taking defensive and minimal action. The DAR statement, responded by another federal minister, was further escalating the already tense conflict situation after Indian and Pakistani troops used missiles to target each other’s devices over the past 12 hours. “If India stops further attacks, Pakistan will consider relegation. However, if India launches further further attacks, our reaction will follow.”

He said Pakistan is taking defensiveness, saying: “The actions taken by Pakistan’s civil and military leadership are proportional. More action can be taken and we are ready for it, but this is the minimum action taken now and this will continue for some time.”

“The Tamatha (circus) staged in India over the past three days … we have no choice but to retaliate against India’s military operations,” Dahl told Geo News.

He reiterated: “This action we start today will end in some way. It’s all about India’s needs.”

Tarar said Pakistani forces were deployed at the border to respond to India’s actions.

Dahl, who is also the deputy prime minister, said: “Pakistan has no choice, so our civil and military leadership has made a decision after attacking the Nur Khan Air Base. No more patience. We just responded to them.”

Indian armed forces conducted a precise strike on Pakistan’s terrorist launch pad and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) on Wednesday in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack with cross-border links, a situation in tensions between India and Pakistan.

Pakistan launched a fresh drone attack at 26 locations in India, from Jamu and Kashmir to Gujarat, and on the second night on Friday, the Indian Ministry of Defense said the enemy attempted to encounter important devices, including airports and air bases.

Earlier on Saturday, Islamabad claimed that its three air bases were targets of Indian missiles and drones.

India responded to the “provocation” and “escalation” actions by the Pakistani military on Saturday, and Islamabad is resorting to a wanton and wanton campaign aimed at the innocent people and civilian infrastructure of her foreign secretary Vikram Misri in Cham and Kashmir and Punjab.
