The Defense Department said the U.S. Secretary of Defense reiterated its full support for the U.S. government in India’s fight against terrorism. On April 22, terrorists opened fire on tourists from Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The brutal attack took 26 lives – mainly Indian tourists and 1 Nepalese national.
