“If we travel, Kashmir and India win”: Shark Tank Judge Anupam Mittal visits the valley; netizens say: “Mr. Love Spirit”

India-Pakistan conflict: Tourism in the region is pending as fears of a deadly attack on Pahalgam in Kashmir took 26 lives. On Friday, Shark Tank Indian judge and founder of Shaadi.com Anupam Mittal urged “What Kashmir needs is tourists coming back” and brought X and shared photos of his tickets to Kashmir.

Kashmir Tourism Bureau is under threat

After the Pahalgam horror, at least 62% of families traveling or pilgrimage to Kashmir between May and December 2025 canceled their reservations, showing a survey by the local community.

The LocalCircles survey collected more than 21,000 verified responses from 361 regions. Respondents included 63% of men and 37% of women. Answers are from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and rural areas.

Kashmir has seen record travel paces, with over 2.3 billion tourists already in 2025.
