II PU Exam 2: Science Stream Students See Improvements in Scores

The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessment Board (KSEAB) announced the II PU Examination 2 results on Friday, with a pass percentage of 31.27%.

In 2024, the percentage of passes in Exam 2 is 35.25%.

This year, there have been a total of 1,94,077 tests, with 60,692 of which managed to clear the test. Of the 71,964 times that registered for Exam 2 to improve their scores, 41,719 people improved. As many as 1,628 did not see any changes in the ratings in Exam 1.

Among the students who wrote PU Annual Exam 2 in 2011, a large number of students from the Science Stream received good scores in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology.

According to the subject data, the highest registration was for physics in 46,270, of which 26,518 managed to improve their mark, followed by 45,297 math, with 25,477 improving. In chemistry, 44,947 times occurred, and 31,974 times gradually improved. In biology, 9,492 students in total out of the 20,310 students taking the exam improved. The number of students enrolled in English subjects to improve their scores was 21,724, and a total of 6,937 managed to improve their grades.

A senior KSEAB official said: “Because these marks will be counted into the CET rankings. Several science majors showed up for Exam 2 to get a good ranking in the CET.”

Even in Exam 2, the girls performed more than 34.34% of boys than 36.38% of boys. The art rate for students passing through the stream is 25.38%, 35.74% in business and 35.14% in science.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah congratulates those who have managed to pass Exam 2, as well as those who have improved their grades by taking the second exam. Mr. Siddaramaiah posted a Tweetter on the social media media platform: “I congratulate the 60,692 students who passed Exam 2 and 41,719 for improving their grades. I also advise those who cannot clear both exams not to be disappointed and to register for Exam 3 without paying any fees.”

The application date for the scanned copy of the answer script is May 22, and the last date for revaluation and repricing is May 21 to May 25. Students can download a scanned copy of the answer script between May 20 and 24.

KSEAB plans to conduct the II ii PU exam from June 9 to June 20.
