Basaveshwara Nagar police arrested former Bigg boss Kannada contestant Rajath Kishan on Wednesday for breach of his bail terms.
Defendant Kishan and his colleague Vinay Gowda previously publicly waved machetes for uploading on Instagram reels and misled police officers, while handing over weapons used for crime and misleading them. The two were arrested and later released on conditional bail.
Meanwhile, the duo violated the bail conditions and failed to appear in court, which led to the issuance of an unbailable warrant for arrest (NBW) on them.
Police executed an arrest warrant on Wednesday, arresting Kishan and ruled him before a magistrate. He was later remanded to 14 days of judicial custody, while the second defendant, Vinay Gowda, appeared in court and was waived with a fine of Rs 500.
