Prithviraj Sukumaran reacts to Mohanlal-Starrer L2 Empuraan with Salman Khan’s Sikandar

Mohanlal-starrer and Prithviraj Sukumaran directed L2:Empuraan will be released on March 27, while Salman Khan-starrer and Ar Murugadoss directed Sikandar will be released in theaters on March 30.
Headlined by Mohanlal, the much-awaited Malayalam action thriller L2: Empuraan is set to have a pan-India release on Thursday, March 27. The film will clash at the box office with Salman Khan-starrer Sikandar, which hits theatres on Sunday, March 30, coinciding with the Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
Prithviraj Sukumar, who played a key role in L2: Empuraan and directed Fillm, said there was no box office conflict between his film and Sikandar and hoped for the success of the Salman Khan film. Prithviraj said in a press conference in Delhi that promoted the Hindi release of the highly anticipated Malayalam film, “Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars in the country, and there is no competition between the two films. I hope this will be a blockbuster.
L2: Empuraan is the second part of the planned trilogy, and is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer. Sikandar, on the other hand, is directed by popular Tamil director Ar Murugadoss. Murugadoss made his debut at the Bollywood Directors with Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini in 2008 and played famous Tamil films like Spyder, Sarkar and Darbar. In addition to Salman Khan, Sikandar also includes Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi and Kajal Aggarwal.
Both Mohanlal-starrer and Prithviraj Sukumaran-directed L2:Empuraan will be shining at the box office as the film has already won Rs 60 crore in pre-sale prices. With Sikandar’s reservations starting on Tuesday, March 25, Salman Khan-Starrer is also hoping to break multiple records on the opening day itself.
