Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT M) has launched a new graduate diploma for graduates and professionals to improve skills in emerging technology areas. Those who perform well in the program can upgrade from the institute to an M.Tech degree with a network.
The program is designed to equip new graduates and work professionals with industry-related technical expertise. It includes live streaming evening or weekend classes online as well as access to recorded sessions. Those with full-time jobs or internships can engage in these programs.
Admission will pass the entrance examination held on July 13, 2025. Candidates can apply until May 2025. The course starts in August/September 2025. To apply, please visit https://code.iitm.ac.in/webmtech.
Vignesh Muthuvijayan, vice chairman of the Center for Outreach and Digital Education (Code), of IIT M, said the center is meeting the growing demand for flexible, industry-related technical education.
Candidates will obtain hands-on projects and temporary assessments through remote processing. Final exams will be conducted at designated centers across the country. Candidates will have the option to access the applicable laboratory conference institute.
Specialties offered include aeronautical engineering, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering design and process safety.
