Nellol: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Dr. Ponguru Narayana held a large public rally on Saturday as part of the “Swachh Andhra -Swachh Divas” initiative, reaffirming the state’s commitment to cleaners and green Andhra Pradesh.

The rally began at the VRC Center and climaxed at the Nartaki Center, seeing thousands of participants posed slogans that promoted the cleanliness of trunk roads. Narayana pays homage to the statues of Dr. Br Ambedkar, Dr. Mahatma Gandhi and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, acknowledging their contribution to the country.

In the conclusion of the rally, Narayana provided the crowd with a guarantee of cleanliness. “We observe Swachh Divas on the third Saturday of each month, and everyone has a new theme. As outlined by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, our vision is to make Andhra Pradesh the cleanest state in India,” he said.

The minister criticized the previous government for its negligence in health, and emphasized visible accumulation of waste and waste despite the garbage tax. He stressed that under current leadership, tax revenues are appropriately used for municipal development.

Narayana also opened a biologic unit in the Alipuram dump, established by Jigma Global Environment Solutions Pvt. Ltd., isolate inheritance waste. He is expected to be declared a garbage-free state by October this year.

Swachh Andhra Corporation MD B. Anil Kumar Reddy, Chairman of the Pollution Control Committee P. Krishnayya and other key officials participated in the event.
