The humidity levels in the morning are also very high. At 8:30 am, the relative humidity is 82%, making the air moist and viscous. However, rain and cloud cover help reduce overall discomfort.
The Meteorological Bureau said Delhi can expect more rainfall later that day. Thunderstorms and lightning may also be in certain areas of the city. Despite the rain, the maximum temperature is expected to stay around 34 degrees Celsius.
The weather changes have brought relief to many residents, especially those who work outdoors. Experts believe this brief rainy spell can help improve air quality and reduce temperature slightly, although the effect may not last long.
