Kunal Kamra joins studio sabotage to mock Shiv Sena

Standing comedian Kunal Kamra posted a new video on social media on Tuesday, mocking Shiv Sena’s workers in order to destroy the habitat comedy club in Mumbai after he spoke to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

In the video, Kamra sang the title ” ‘Hum Honge Kangal’ (We will go bankrupt) as the clips of Sena members damage property on the venue. The song is a satire to vandalism and a reaction to his jokes.

The controversy began with Kamra’s reputation for his keen political satire during the show, calling Shinde a “traitor”, which apparently refers to Shinde’s 2022 rebellion, which led to the split of Shiv Sena, founded by Bal Thackeray. The comment angered Shiv Sena workers loyal to Shinde, prompting them to attack the site of the habitat and destroy the property.

In the video, Kamra does not seem shocked when she shows the musical refutation. The lyrics simulate the party’s response, while the clip shows the extent of damage caused during the protests.

After the incident, police confirmed that they were investigating vandalism. Meanwhile, Kamra’s video spread, attracting support from fans and criticism from the political world.

Kamra has faced legal challenges and rebounds in his outspoken views of politicians, but still resolves the dispute with humor.

As tensions intensify, Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction has not yet formally commented on Kamra’s latest provocation.
