India and Sri Lanka are expected to present around 10 ambitious outcomes, including strengthening cooperation on defense, energy security and digitalization, following negotiations between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Saturday.
Mr. Modi landed in the capital of Sri Lanka tonight and was thrilled to welcome, including five top Sri Lankan ministers, including Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath, Health Minister Nalinda Jayatissa and Fisheries Minister Ramalingam Chandrasekar hosted the Prime Minister at Bandaranaike Airport.
Mr Modi said on ‘x’: “Land in Colombo. Thanks for welcoming my minister and VIPs at the airport. Looking forward to the plans for Sri Lanka.”
The Prime Minister arrived here after a two-day trip to Thailand and was warmly welcomed by the hotel Taj Samudra, where he stayed.
