Why does Afghanistan as stipulated by the Taliban supports India, not Pakistan?

Afghan Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi strongly condemned the Pahargen attack. The Taliban also earlier condemned the terrorist attacks and said such incidents undermined efforts to ensure regional security and stability.

Agent Afghan FM Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi meets Indian diplomat Anand Prakash

Taliban-ruled Afghanistan shocked Islamabad as Islamabad chose to support India after the Pahargam terrorist attacks. After meeting an Indian delegation led by MEA Joint Secretary Anand Prakash, who handled Pakistan, Afghan and Iran, Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi strongly condemned the attack on April 22, with 26 people killed. The Taliban also earlier condemned the terrorist attacks and said such incidents undermined efforts to ensure regional security and stability.

India lends a hand to the Taliban

As India changed its policies to the Taliban and also contacted them in the early days, it is believed that radical clothing would not allow Pakistan’s strategic depth in Afghanistan, and anti-Indian elements sneaked into Jamu and Kashmir and Kashmir and attacked them or attack Indian diplomats or others. The Taliban also ensured that Indian diplomats provide sufficient security to carry out their activities fearlessly.

Pakistan expels Afghan refugees

Days after Islamabad launched a forceful deportation of more than 3 million Afghans as refugees, the Pahargam attack took place several days after Islamabad. The Pakistani government led by Shehbaz Sharif has decided to send all of these Afghan refugees in three phases. The United Nations Organization for International Migration (IOM) said it has helped 1 million people returning from Pakistan and Iran to assist.

Islamabad announced in March that it would send about 800,000 people in April. These are the people who issued the Afghan Citizenship Card (ACC) by the Pakistani authorities. Afghanistan is not satisfied with the decision.

Conflict Duran Line

Shortly after militants captured Kabul in August 2021, Pakistan-Afghanistan relations were in a blaze. The Durand line that separates the two countries becomes a tricky view, with both sides engaged in skirmishes in many cases. Afghanistan under the Taliban rejected the boundaries established in 1893 by British civil servants Sir Henry Mortimer Durand and Afghan Emir Abdur Rahman Khan. Similarly earlier, Kabul rejected it as an international border, but the Taliban was in charge of affairs and Islamabad wanted to make it accept hegemony.

Pakistan – Afghanistan and TTP

The two sides also have a public quarrel in Pakistan in Pakistan, where sympathizers of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa live on the other side of the border. The outfit is designed to establish rules based on Islamic teachings in Pakistan; the Taliban’s success in Afghanistan is encouraged. They carried out a bold attack in Pakistan and targeted security forces, killing hundreds of people. Islamabad hopes the Taliban curbs Islamic clothing, while Afghanistan says militants are out of control.

India still has not officially recognized the Taliban. However, it has contacted the rulers of Afghanistan and guaranteed that they will continue to start the development project. It was a big bargain for the Taliban, which required external support and recognition to claim its legitimacy. For Afghanistan, getting the Indian delegation on their soil was a great relief. Kabul soon received Indian diplomats with open arms and fierce Pakistan was captured in terrorist attacks in Jamu and Kashmir.
