India strongly condemned the kidnapping and brutal killing of Bangladesh Hindu Minority Leader Bhabesh Chandra Roy on Saturday.
MEA spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said the incident was part of a “systematic persecution” model of ethnic minorities in India under the current provisional government of Bangladesh.
He also said those responsible for the early attacks were still roaming freely and urged the government to stop the excuses and ensure the safety of all ethnic minorities, including Hindus.
“This killing is painful,” Jaiswal wrote on X. Bangladesh called for its responsibilities and action.
In the past, India’s attacks on ethnic minorities in neighboring countries have continued to increase.
