The purpose of this initiative is to inform the international community of Pakistan’s ongoing support for terrorism and highlight the recent Indian Operation Sindor. The trip is expected to last 10 days, starting on May 23. The group of lawmakers may visit several key world capitals including the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Japan.
This will be the first time the Centre will present MPs from multiple political parties to India’s position on Kashmir and cross-border terrorism from Pakistan.
While the government has not officially announced the initiative, it is understood that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and other agencies are currently preparing documents containing facts and examples to prove the allegations against Pakistan.
An MEA official is expected to accompany the delegation. Parliament Minister Kiren Rijiju is leading the coordinated efforts of this international tour, an important step in India’s diplomatic outreach, including Manish Tewari, including Manish Tewari, Shashi Tharoor, Shashi Tharoor, Priyanka Chaturvedi and Sasmit Patra, who have participated in the campaign.
