India must hunt down the terrorists responsible for Pahargam attacks, whether or not, whether they are ceasefire or not: OWAISI

Hyderabad: Aimim President Asaduddin Owaisi declared that peace would not be possible for Pakistan as long as the country uses its territory to terrorism against India. Owaisi responded to the announcement of the Pakistan Ceasefire Centre, saying: “The ceasefire or no ceasefire, we must pursue the terrorists responsible for the Pahargam attack.”

He also said he hopes Prime Minister Narendra Modi can clarify why India allows third parties to announce a ceasefire, when India has opposed third-party mediation with Pakistan since the 1972 Shimla Agreement.

Owaisi said in a post on X that Modi should answer why India is now accepting third-party intervention. “I hope the Kashmir issue will not be international because it is our internal problem.”

Owasi said he always supports the government and the armed forces against external aggression and that will not change. He said: “I thank the Armed Forces for their heroism and commendable skills. I pay tribute to Army Jawan M. Murali Naik, Addc Raj Kumar Thapa and pray to all civilians who have been killed or injured during the conflict. I hope this ceasefire provides a respite to those living in the border areas.”

He also questioned the U.S. claim that India agreed to hold talks on neutral territory and that if the U.S. assured that Pakistan would not use its territory for terrorism. Importantly, Owaisi wonders if the center “has achieved our goal of stopping Pakistan from conducting future terrorist attacks? Is our goal to get a Trump-promoted ceasefire or bring Pakistan to such a stance that wouldn’t even dream of another terrorist attack?”
