India, Pakistan DGMO agrees to reduce troops, committed to not firing or aggression | India News

Directors of the Director of Military Operations of India and Pakistan (DGMOS) held key talks on Monday at 5:00 pm.

The focus of the discussion is to uphold the commitment to cessation of hostilities and to avoid firing or launching aggressive actions to each other. Both sides agreed to explore immediate measures to reduce the presence of troops along the border and front areas.

He added: “We have provided the Indian army with full freedom to eliminate terrorists and now every terrorist organization knows ‘Ki Hamari Behano, Betiyon ke Maathe se sindoor hatane ka anjaam kya kya hota hai.”

India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 and attacked nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the horrific terrorist attacks in Pahalgam in Jamu and Kashmir last month, with 26 people killed.
