As Pakistan violates its recently announced ceasefire agreement with India, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Beijing is ready to play a “constructive role” in the demotion of tensions between the two neighbors. According to a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Yi had a telephone conversation with India’s national security adviser Ajit Doval.
