Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif claimed a “historic victory” hours after agreeing to a ceasefire with India. In a televised speech to his country, he said Pakistan achieved a “historical victory.” He continued to praise and congratulate senior officials of the Pakistani army, navy and armed forces and named them alone. Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his gratitude to the opposition parties. In addition, he pays homage to the family who lost someone in the last four days of the conflict. He expressed confidence in the sharing of water, Kashmir and all other controversial issues. “Long live Pakistan,” he said during his speech.
