Some even accused the show’s producer Asit Kumarr Modi of being unprofessional and toxic atmosphere. Now, in a recent interview, Asit Modi talks about these issues and shares his story.
In an interview with the screen, when asked about his feelings about the actor leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and later criticizing the show, Asit Modi said it hurt him. He shares that he always tries to treat everyone like his family and works hard to get the team together.
He said: “I never got out of myself from the actors. If there is any problem, they can always contact me. I’ve always been honest and keep the show first. I’ve never thought about any personal gains, so with an event like this, I do feel frustrated, but it’s part of life.”
The producer also said he did not want to argue or respond to all the allegations against him. Instead, he attributed the actors who left, who he said they also played a major role in making the show successful.
He said: “The actors who left were always against me. It’s OK. I won’t say anything to them. They worked in my performance and played a role in the success of TMKOC. Even if I led it, the show became very popular. I couldn’t work hard because of everyone’s efforts. I couldn’t be alone. In my heart, I wouldn’t be happy and couldn’t make people laugh.”
