India renames China to “absurd” Arunachal Pradesh Location: MEA | India News

India on Wednesday firmly rejected China’s repeated efforts to renaming its name in Arunachal Pradesh, calling the exercise “fruit and absurd” and asserting that the Northeast state is part of the state and parcel. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) spokesman Randhir Jaiswal responded to questions from media personnel and made stern comments, precluding Beijing’s recent renaming exercises.

“We have noticed that China has been in vain and absurd attempts to name the places in Arunachal Pradesh, India,” Jaswar said. “According to our position of principle, we absolutely reject such an attempt.”
The MEA stressed that China’s “creative naming” efforts have nothing to do with facts or sovereignty.
“Creative naming will not change the undeniable reality of Arunachal Pradesh and will always be an integral and inalienable part of India,” the statement added.
Refusal was rejected when India and China’s claims on the border intensified tensions, especially within the actual control of the eastern region.
