India restricts imports from Bangladesh’s land ports of clothing, processed food and other selected items

According to the notice, ready-made clothing can now be imported only through Nhava Sheva and Kolkata Seaports rather than through any land port.
In addition, other categories of goods, including processed foods, fruits and fruit-rich beverages, cotton and cotton yarn waste, plastics and PVC finished products (excluding original inputs such as pigments, dyes, plastics and granules), as well as wooden furniture, are also subject to specific port restrictions.
