Vice President JD Vance became the last major figure to meet with Pope Francis before his death on Monday, passing away last Monday.

During his trip, he visited the Vatican and held a private meeting with the pope, where the two exchanged joy.
Vance greeted the 88-year-old pope and told him how long he would pray for him.
