“We gave visas to study not…”: US Secretary of State criticized foreign students for social activism | World News

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed strong criticism of foreign students involved in political activism on American college campuses. He stressed that the U.S. government grants visas to academic purposes rather than allowing students to engage in subversive activities.

“We gave you a visa to study and get a degree – don’t be a social activist, spawning our university campuses,” Rubio said.
