India warns Pakistan for unprovoked ceasefire violations along LOC | India News

India warned Pakistan on Wednesday not to violate an unprovoked ceasefire after its military operations directors in both countries discussed the issue on the hotline. Last week, Pakistan has been violating a ceasefire at the control route (LOC) and international borders. The provocation occurred a few days after the deadly Pahargam terrorist attacks in Jamu and Kashmir, where 26 people were killed.
The Indian army has effectively responded to the Pakistani army’s unreasonable small arms (LOC) at the Line of Control (LOC). Officials said the Army quickly responded to the ceasefire violation in the area opposite Kupwara and Jammu and Kashmir (JK) from the evening of April 27-28. According to officials, Indian troops also responded effectively to Pakistani troops shooting along the LOC in the area opposite the Tutmari Gali and Rampur departments from April 26 to 27.
Pakistan has increased ceasefire violations along LOC. Security forces intensified counter-terrorism operations in the Kashmir Valley following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which killed 26 people on April 22. The Cabinet Security Committee (CCS) met the day after the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
In a briefing to CCS, cross-border links for terrorist attacks were proposed. It is worth noting that the attack was due to its stable progress in economic growth and development following the successful elections of Jamu and Kashmir.
India has taken a series of measures against Pakistan to support cross-border terrorism, including shelving the Indus Water Treaty and closing Attari’s comprehensive check posts. India has also decided to cut its strength in high-level commissions.
The government gives the armed forces complete freedom to decide on their response to the Pahargan terrorist attack. (with ANI input)
