Hyderabad: On Friday, three Telangana ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Thummala Nageswara Rao and Ponnam Prabhakar assured celebrities that they suffered losses due to seasonal rainfall, lashing out at several parts of the state over the past few days, and the state government will support them on all fronts.
Agriculture Minister Nageswara Rao, Industry Minister Sridhar Babu and lagging class welfare minister Ponnam Prabhakar provided assurances to farmers while inspecting crops that were recently damaged in hailstorms in Ibrahimnagar in Siddipet district.
According to the requirements of the party cadres, the ministers inspected the crops. They interact with farmers to assess the extent of their losses. They assured the farmers not to panic and confirmed that the government strongly supported them.
Ministers headed to Karimnagar area for Sircilla while inspecting damaged crops. During the inspection, senior officials from the agriculture, horticulture and taxation departments were also present.
At the site level, agricultural and horticulture officials are conducting inspections of villages to assess damage caused by crops and mango trees due to recent rainfall. After the assessment is completed, the officer will submit a detailed report to the headquarters to take the necessary actions.
