India and France signed a defence deal of rupee on Monday. 630 million crore rupees, acquiring 26 waves of marine fighters.

Details of the French gust transaction in India
ANI reports that operators in India need new fighter deployments because the current fleet of existing MIG-29 K fighters is reportedly underperforming due to some maintenance-related issues. The Rafale aircraft is expected to be deployed on board the Vikrant on board.
The deal includes 22 single seats and four double seat rafts, which will be customized to meet Indian needs and carrier integration. The fighters of these operators were used as freeze-frame solutions until the development of Indian carrier fighters ended.
The procurement will be conducted in accordance with an intergovernmental agreement to ensure direct delivery without any intermediary. The deal is a single-seat jet and two-seat trainer deal and is expected to be completed in 2031.
According to IANS, fighters will be deployed on aircraft carriers of Ins Vikrant and Ins Vikramaditya.
In addition to obtaining 26 Rafale jets, the Indian-French deal also includes training, comprehensive maintenance, logistics and Indigenous component manufacturing packages.
What is Rafale-M?
The Rafale-M is a multi-functional fighter with long-range cruise missiles, AM39 Exocet anti-fleet and air-to-air missiles outside the meteor and deployed from the French aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle.
The fighter is equipped with a Safran Group’s enhanced landing point, also features folding wings and is equipped with a reinforced chassis to withstand rough marine conditions, deck landing and tail hooks.
Total number of gust planes in India
The Indian Air Force has operated a fleet of 36 Rafale aircraft in Ambala and Hasamara. These were acquired by India under a separate deal, which was signed in 2016.
Now, India will have a total of 62 Rafale aircraft. According to the news agency, this will promote India’s 4.5-generation fighter aircraft.
