The accident occurred near Chaupala Chauraha Overbridge in Gajraula near NH-9 at around 2.30am when Pawandeep Rajan's SUV crashed into a fixed Canter truck that broke on the side of the road.

Indian Idol Season 12 champion Pawandeep Rajan was “stable and conscious” after he suffered severe injuries in a road accident in Amroha district in Uttar Pradesh early Monday morning. The Uttarakhand-born singer is undergoing multiple fractures and has suffered severe head injuries at a hospital in Noida.
Pawandeep was taken to a medical facility under the care of his orthopedic team after the accident caused a “multiple limb fracture”, the Fuss Hospital in Noida said in a statement. The statement read further: “He is currently stable and conscious. He will undergo a series of sequential surgeries. Our clinical team is closely monitoring his condition and providing all necessary medical services.”
Police said the accident occurred on National Highway 9 at around 2.30 a.m. on Pawandeep's SUV crashed into a fixed Kanter truck on the side of the road, close to the Circle Officer's office, close to the Circle Officer's office. Car driver Rahul Singh and passenger Ajay Mehra were also injured in the crash. Police added that the three were initially taken to a local hospital by bystanders and then referred to the Advanced Medical Center.
