The opposition at the congress, R. Ashok, reportedly called the current caste census report “forgery” on Sunday, demanding a judicial investigation into the original copy of the backward Karnataka class, due to the lack of the original copy.

At a press conference in Bangalore, Mr Ashok mentioned a letter written by former chairman of the committee, K. Jayaprakash Hegde, to the government, noting that the original copy was not available. “So what’s there now is false reports,” he said.

“The ministers of Congress and leaders are describing the science and authenticity of the report. However, Mr. Heggard has written a letter to the government about the report, noting that when a sealed box was opened on 26 August 2021, it was observed that the report did not have any signatures of the former chairman of the committee.

“The former chairman of the committee, H. Kantharaj, left without signing the report. The initial report was at the home of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The investigation was conducted without visiting anyone’s house. Everyone sat in Mr Siddaramaiah’s home or office and prepared the report.

Mr. Ashok does not allow students to write CET except wearing “Janivara” (sacred topic).

“The government has opposed the belief for thousands of years. Lingaya’s shivadarava has also been cut Mangalasutra and bracelets. But those wearing headscarves were not examined. This government is suppressing Hindus and gaining undue satisfaction from it. ” he claimed.
