Amit Shah said at CRPF’s Day event that Namasism will end in March 2026

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that Nassarism will be eliminated in the country on March 31, 2026, in which the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) will play an important role. He delivered a speech at the 86th Fundraising Day Functions in Neemuch District, Madhya Pradesh.

“As Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, the threat of Namasism will end on March 31, 2026, and the CAPF and CRPF, especially its Commano Battalion for Resolute Action troops will play an important role in it,” Shah said. Earlier, Shah inspected the CRPF’s day parade here.

Before attending the ritual parade, Shah paid tribute to the fallen heroes of the CRPF. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also present. The event is part of the 86th Crafting Day celebration held by the CRPF, the official press release said. CRPF Day is celebrated every March 19, as on this day in 1950, then Minister of Interior Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel presented the national flag to the troops.

The press release said this year’s parade was held on April 17 as part of the extended celebration. On July 27, 1939, in Nimchi, the “Royal Police” was established during the British rule. On December 28, 1949, the Minister of the Interior Patel changed its name to the Central Reserve Police Force.

The CRPF plays an important role in many ways, from princely states to internal security, anti-enterprise-terrorist operations, international peace peacekeeping, VIP security and disaster management.
