MICT developed under Cruise Bharat Mission is developed under the latest global standards and is expected to play a groundbreaking role in developing the cruise tourism industry in India. A building area of more than 4,15,000 square feet has been developed at Ballard Pier. Mitt is the largest world-class cruise terminal in India.
Equipped with 72 check-in and immigration counters, the area of 2,07,000 square feet is expanded on the first two floors (G+1), while the other two floors (2+3) are developed with commercial flooring. The newly formed MICT aims to process 1 million passengers per year and has about 10,000 passengers per day. It can also handle 5 ships simultaneously, with 11 meters of drafts and up to 300 meters in length. In the parking space, more than 300 cars can be parked at the same time.

From heritage-inspired entry to stylish interiors with wavy seating, selfie dots and sea patches, it offers a quiet and vibrant portal to India’s emerging global cruise hub. MICT will provide an enhanced passenger experience and use Mumbai as one of the main hubs for cruise tourism. The total investment in the Xiaomi Te project is Rs 556 crore.
