Kerala man accused of mass murder sentenced to life imprisonment

Thiruvananthapuram Other District and Conference Court VI Judge Vishnu K. also fined 1.5 million on Raha. He was convicted for murder, evidence of destruction and arson. According to the sentence, his life sentence only began after he served for 12 years. The arson case was 7 years and 5 years of damage.

The compensation will be awarded to his uncle Jose Sundaram. The prosecution sought the death penalty in the case.

Raja initially claimed to be mentally ill, and the murder was part of a mysterious experiment. The prosecutors have shown that the crime was carefully planned and driven by his dissatisfaction with his family.

Prosecutors argued that Raja was frustrated after failing to complete engineering courses abroad and was frustrated by his isolation in a wealthy family residence. They also suggested that violent video games and other online materials influenced his actions.

Ultimately, the court rejected his claim on mental instability.
