An Indigo Airlines flight landed in an emergency at the airport in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, an airport official said on Monday (April 7, 2025).
He said the Mumbai-Varanasi flight landed at Chikalsana Airport at around 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The official said Sushila Devi, a Mirzapur native of Uttar Pradesh, boarded a flight from Mumbai and began to feel uncomfortable.
A medical team examined the woman’s landing, but she had succumbed.
According to the airline, the woman’s body was taken to the government medical school and hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhjinagar.
