Indigo issue passenger travel consultation

New Delhi: The day after a powerful sandstorm swept the national capital, causing flight delays and transfers, Indigo Airlines issued a travel consultation warning passengers to enter and exit Delhi, hoping to continue to be interrupted.
The consultation, released on Saturday, was under adverse weather conditions, affecting operations at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport on Thursday night and Friday morning. The dust storm caused several delays and forced multiple flights to be diverted, causing air congestion.
“Although weather conditions in Delhi have improved, Airside congestion continues to affect flight operations to and from Delhi. We encourage you to regularly check your flight status for the latest updates,” Indigo said in a statement released on X.
The airline further advises passengers that if cancelled, they can easily reschedule their trip or request a refund through their website. Indigo also assured that the ground team is actively assisting affected travelers and working to ensure a smoother experience during the disruption.
The airline added: “We sincerely thank you for your continued patience and support as we strive to get you to your destination smoothly.”
