Infosys fired 240 trainees who failed the assessment test one day after hiring 20,000 candidates. Fiscal Year 26
Software large Infosys has abandoned 240 entry-level employees, but internal evaluation failed, according to a company email sent on April 18. The move comes after a round of termination in February, when Indian IT services companies relaxed more than 300 trainees under similar circumstances. Infosys offers affected free high-skill programs through NIIT and UPGRAD.
When Infosys navigation requires an environment, layoffs occur. The company predicts revenue growth for the fiscal year is only 0% to 3%, with continued uncertainty in its core market.
“The results of the final assessment attempt have been further announced, please let you know that despite the additional preparation time, suspicious, several simulation assessments and three attempts. As a result, you will not be able to continue to provide your journey to the Acrenticesship Program, you have not met the eligibility criteria in the General Basic Training Program.
