Hyderabad: Infosys Foundation, the charity and CSR unit of Infosys, announced the launch of its fourth edition of the Aarohan Social Innovation Award.
Infosys Foundation continues to work to promote social innovation in India, inviting innovators and social entrepreneurs from all over the country to participate in the awards. The award recognizes and rewards individuals, teams, NGOs and social enterprises, develops unique technology-based solutions that have the potential to have a significant impact on poor communities across India.
The foundation’s prize is up to Rs 5 lakh per person, with a total reward of Rs 2 crore. “At the Infosys Foundation, we believe that the power of innovation meets real-world challenges and enhances the community. All Indian citizens aged 18 and above who live in the country are open. Participants can submit their works in the form of videos that can be uploaded to the awards website to upload to the awards website to describe their works.
These entries must have a fully functional prototype or completed project, not just a concept, idea or model. A prominent group of judges will evaluate the finalists to determine the final winner.
