Vijayawada: In the fields of Quidimitra village, the inscription of Chaji Chief Ganapaya was found.
The engraving was written in Telugu and Sanskrit languages and in Telugu characters from the common era of the 13th century. It records the gifts of several pieces of land under the tank and also records the gifts of Lord Mulasthanam Mallikarjuna Mahadeva of Gudimetla, the devotees of Yogananti Narashimadeva.
