Instagram accounts of several Pakistani actors blocked in India

Instagram’s message on these accounts said: “India is not available. This is because we comply with legal requests that restrict this content.”
India announced earlier this week that it had banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels to spread provocative and publicly sensitive content against India, its military and security agencies, and her army and security agencies in the context of her tragic Pahalgam horror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.
The action follows the recommendations of the Ministry of the Interior (MHA).
“According to the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indian government has banned some Pakistani YouTube channels to spread provocative and shared sensitive content, false and misleading narratives and misinformation about India, its military and security agencies, which once was a source of government in the context of the tragic Pahalgam horror incident in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s comeback movie Abir Gulaal was not released in India earlier this month. Sources from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting say the film (also a film by Vaani Kapoor) will not be released in India. Fawad was last seen in the Bollywood movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).
The terrorist attacks in Jamu and Pahalgam in Kashmir on April 22 targeted tourists and killed 26 people. India has taken strong measures against Pakistan in support of cross-border terrorism following the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
