Vijayawada: An international team of four experts visited the Polavaram Project website in Polavaram, Eluru District on Monday.
The team examined works supporting the dam, diaphragm wall and GAP-1, as well as the Quality Control Laboratory. They are more stressed about the quality of the upcoming D-wall and test reports.
The team will be more committed to completing the design, especially for GAP-1, and will decide to develop a design for GAP-2.
They held a review meeting with officials from the Ministry of Water Resources and representatives of liaison agencies.
Experts include Richard Donnelly, Sean Hiinchberger, Gianfranco di Cicco and David B Paul. They will continue to inspect the various components of the project and recommend drawing the design until May 8.
