IMF must provide assistance to Pakistan: Rajnas

Bhugi: India called on Friday to reconsider its $1 billion aid to Pakistan, suggesting that Islamabad could use it for terrorist funding. Addressing to military personnel, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said India does not want to use the funds it gives to the International Monetary Fund directly or indirectly to build terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan or any other country.
“I believe that in today’s era, any form of financial aid to Pakistan is nothing more than terrorist funds.”
“India hopes the IMF will reconsider the $1 billion aid to Pakistan and avoid any future assistance,” he said.
Singh said that the Indian armed forces not only dominated the enemy during Operation Singhur, but also successfully destroyed the enemy.
He said he praised the Indian Air Force for its effective conflicts in terrorist operations.
“Our Air Force has touched new heights with its valor, courage and glory.”
Singh arrived at the Bouke Air Force Station this morning to review the overall security situation.
The air base here is one of Pakistan’s military infrastructure in a four-day confrontation between the two armies.
