Rhea Chakraborty walks for teaching

Hyderabad was filled with star power when actress Rhea Chakraborty taught at the 11th annual fundraising fashion show in Change. Hosted by Lakshmi Manchu, actor, producer, and founder of Teach for Change, the April 12 event brings celebrities and supporters together for a vibrant fashion and philanthropy. The night was a glittering event aimed at raising funds and awareness of quality education for poor children across the country.

42 actors from across India have joined forces to support the cause, making it one of the most starring versions of the fundraising event.

Celebrated designer Swathi Veldandi exhibited an amazing collection, the event was delightful, further enhanced by the sophisticated craftsmanship of the famous jewelry brand Aabharanam. Next to Rhea, the ramps saw outstanding faces from sports and film, including Saina Nehwal, Hebah Patel, Kavya Thapar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jasmine Bhasin, Prince, Varun Sandesh and others. Adding fascinating to the event are VIPs such as Minister D. Sridhar Babu of Telangana, Minister of Environment and Forest Konda Surekha, MLA Chittem Chittem Parnika Reddy, environmentalist Asif Bhamla and former DGP Anjani Kumar, among others.

Lakshmi Manchu is full of pride, saying, “Teaching for Change has always been empowering life through education. Seeing the enormous support of our film fraternity and public leaders has inspired our dreams to be bigger and to get farther away.”
