Iran vows to pursue peaceful nuclear energy

“We will not give up on the nuclear energy of peace in any way,” Pezshkian said in a remark that aired on state television on Sunday.
The president spoke at a diplomatic forum in Tehran, and Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi is mediating ongoing nuclear negotiations between the United States and Iran to ensure a new agreement on atomic mass work in the Islamic Republic.
His comments will appear as speeches between Iran and U.S. officials intensify. Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei posted a fraudster on Donald Trump on Saturday and accused him of abuse of power.
Trump is trying to force Iran to remove its nuclear program – an Iranian official warns that the situation could endanger negotiations – and threatens to threaten military action if the conversation achieves a new deal collapse.
“We are not seeking war with anyone. We say they should recognize our rights,” Pezshkian said. “We have the right to conduct peaceful nuclear research and use it. We need this science to do health, agriculture and industry.” Iran’s Foreign Minister and chairperson negotiator Abbas Araghchi had previously said Tehran would not give up its right to be rich in uranium at home, but to show its nuclear program is peaceful for temporary restrictions.
