New Delhi warned that any Pakistani response deserves revenge, exacerbating fears of military conflict in one of the world’s most dangerous and popular nuclear flashpoint regions.
Mr. Alakchi’s visit to India has been pre-planned to participate in the Joint Economic Commission between the two countries.
The Foreign Minister added: “We need peace in our region, especially to expand economic cooperation among regional countries, and we hope this will happen.”
