Ap-disha team catches 200 liters of ID wine

Vijayawada: The joint action of the excise tax authorities along the Ap-disha border with illegal distilled liquor from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha caused 200 liters of ID liquor and destroyed 11,200 liters of fermented Jaggery Jaggery Wash. Authorities confiscated equipment for brewing ID wine.
The AP consumption team, combed through the teams of law enforcement director Rahul Dev Sharma and the team of excise tax commissioner Nishant Kumar and Odisha, combed through the dense forest areas of Sulava Pedima, Kerada, Valava, Vanaja and Vanaja, and removed the distillation unit. Up to six cases have been booked against the thief’s case.
The law enforcement team consists of 54 officials from the AP’s GST department and 15 officials from the Odisha GST department.
